Michelle was instrumental in helping coach and guide me to relaunch my career. We focused on reformatting my resume to highlight my accomplishments in a way that was fresh and effective. I enjoyed working with Michelle and felt confident that I was in good hands the entire time.
After one year of Executive Leadership Coaching with Michelle, my attitude about myself and my career has drastically shifted. I now have the courage to make and even embrace change and to move forward by making choices that benefit me. Over this past year, Michelle has helped me to realize one of my biggest goals for the year, that of being promoted to a director level position. We started planning over six months ago, during that time, Michelle’s coaching showed me that to get to the next level I had to start thinking and acting as a director would. I needed to be a pro-active problem solver by developing ways to deal with situations using my own knowledge and self-awareness. I needed to collect facts, demonstrate my ability to act and come to the table with solutions. She helped me realize that “average” employees go to their boss and ask, “what should I do”? “promotable” employees stand up, take charge, and come up with viable action plans to move the business forward. I have come to regard Michelle as a valued friend as well as business advisor. She has been a vital resource to me, and I look forward to our continuing working relationship over the next year.
I am grateful to Michelle for providing me with actionable and specific guidance during my post-graduation job search process. I first met Michelle at an NYU alumni event, where she unhesitatingly provided sincere and honest advice for me and 5 other students. Afterwards, we continued to meet every couple of weeks to discuss how to approach job search. She helped me improve my resume, upgrade my LinkedIn profile and better connect with others over LinkedIn during these virtual times. She also gave me a lot of good advice on career development and tech industry recruiting. She is truly passionate about helping me succeed in my career goals and I feel ready to tackle my new role with her guidance.
I am really glad I met Michelle. Michelle is an emotionally Intelligent career coach. As an international candidate, Michelle has helped me focus my efforts to be more productive. She has helped me figure out my goals and navigate through a lot of opportunities. She has shared insights to help me stay focused on my goals. What I really like about her is, She offers a goal-oriented, action-based, value-based and flexible approach. Every minute with Michelle is worth-while. I gladly recommend her as a Career Coach, certainly if you want to transition from education to the industry or advance your education. She’s your go-to coach.
I’ve been working with Michelle as my career coach as I seek a new senior-level opportunity. My experience is that Michelle stands apart from the other outplacement resources that I’ve used. The bottom line is results towards the objective of finding a great position and Michelle is an expert at bringing an action-oriented, focused approach to my job search. Our discussions are always very productive. I always come out of each call with a list of high-impact action items. And Michelle is really great at holding me accountable to make progress on a daily basis (but not in a heavy-handed way!). I’ve found her portfolio of coaching services to be both deep and wide, including resume and LinkedIn profile guidance, personal branding and value prop positioning, job search strategies and tips, and even guidance on physical appearance and how to dress which was very useful for me. I highly recommend Michelle as a career coach, certainly if you’re looking for a new opportunity but I can also see how she can add a lot of value to help people stay sharp and maximize their performance in a current role.
Michelle has helped me immensely with my career development over the past several months. As I have recently started a new position, she coached me through the difficult adaptation period, helping me work on my connections and build confidence. She also guided me through a complex process of conflict resolution at work and helped me improve my day-to-day performance. Michelle also worked with me on setting some long-term goals and inspired me to look for new ways of personal and professional development. Despite our intense work together, Michelle has always been extremely easy to talk to. She is honest, supportive and she shows that she cares at all times.
Over the past months, Michelle has been my Career Coach. Michelle and I would meet once a week, over the phone, to discuss various topics to help me professionally. Every session starts off with Michelle asking you, “What do you want to work on,” which shows Michelle truly cares in helping you and gears the session for your needs. Michelle would be able to ask the right questions to dig down to the root cause, create an action plan for next steps, and keep you accountable for those steps. Through working with Michelle, I have been able to uncover a few habits that were hindering me professionally, and create new and better habits. Thanks to Michelle’s coaching, I have been able to improve my professional confidence, better manage my work day, improve my performance at work, and become more self-aware. I cannot express in words how much Michelle has helped me professionally and I’m excited to see where I’ll be a year from now with Michelle’s help.
Michelle and I worked together for the last year. I am incredibly lucky to have her as a mentor and career coach. She is both perceptive and knowledgeable not only about recruiting but also about job markets across a wide range of industries. She is much more than a career coach. In four months, through weekly calls and meetings, Michelle was able to help me better define my personal and professional aspirations. She gave me the necessary guidance, direction and confidence to achieve a greater sense of happiness in my career.
